TeachRock integrates students’ music, customs, experiences, and perspectives into your teaching through engaging, authentic instructional strategies. In this course, participants will dive deep into TeachRock’s methodology, lesson framework, and the vast library of open-source resources available to educators.
Participants will learn how to implement the TeachRock curriculum to equitably reach and support all students, using diverse materials that encourage creativity, performance, reflection, and connections to the world around them. The course focuses on culturally responsive teaching strategies to promote active learning in the classroom.
Through collaboration, participants will explore strategies to transform their instruction and build positive, inclusive classroom communities. Upon completion, participants will receive TeachRock Level 3 Certification.
