Rock Your Classroom is an innovative program designed for undergraduate students in teacher preparation programs. This workshop equips aspiring educators with the skills and strategies to promote cultural diversity and inclusivity in classrooms through the power of Rock and Roll.
Participants will explore TeachRock’s extensive library of lesson plans through interactive workshops, multimedia presentations, group discussions, and collaborative lesson planning. They will also learn best practices for Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and teaching English as a New Language (ENL). These tools will empower them to create engaging and culturally relevant music-based lessons for students of all backgrounds and abilities.
